	Mambo Street bills themselves as "a group of seven middle aged men going through mid-life crisis feeling young again by playing the music of their generation". They play good music, and they keep you laughing with their special style of humor based loosely on that theme. Mambo Street performs old standards and favorites, but with a Latin twist on every song. They are an experienced group of San Francisco Mission District musicians who really have been performing Latin music in the SF Bay Area for years and therefore they perform it with skill and authenticity. They are a throwback to the late 60's and 70's when Latin Jazz and Latin Rock were at their most frenzied peak. This is an act you've gotta see, the hot Latin rhythms keep you dancing all night long, and their enthusiasm and love of the music is obvious because you can feel it. Guitars, bass, keyboards, sax and flute are complimented by a full range of Latin percussion (timbales, congas, bongos, guiro, etc.) to create a unique Mambo Street sound that is strictly their own.
